Tanwise Self tanner. Hit!

I don't  tan i "red", even tho I'm Italian i have very pink pale skin, lol So on my quest for a beautiful olive glow i dove into the world of self tanners. I'm tried drug store and high end but always left unhappy and ORANGE! I came across Tanwise in my local Sally's beauty, it was only around 10bucks with my Sally's card. I didn't have crazy high hopes but it was worth a shot, first thing i noticed was its a dark brown with a GREEN undertone instead of the normal more orange undertone. I applied this with rubber gloves to very well exfoliated skin ( dry fresh out of the shower with NO lotion). it went on very well and has a color guard so you can tell where u put it. I went to bed after it dried which didn't take more then 10 mins. i woke up to a beautiful olive tan! It was darker then the normal 1 coat of any other tanner I've used, it was so pretty no orange look just a brown olive toned tan. I did have a bit of dark spots around my ankles and wrists ( do to me applying to much not do to the product) im IN LOVE with this tanner its so cheap and is the best tanner i have hands down tired. I used another coat of it to deepen the color and its so pretty its fading slowly and evenly. i shower daily and use lotion daily and this tan (2 coats) have lasted me about a week. i think once your at your desired tan color your probably only need to reply once maaybe twice a week. i think that if your a self tanner junky or just looking for a good one at a low coat you might wanna check out Tanwise self tanner. Also i used the tanning lotion they also have a spray ( i rather use a tanning lotion), I do think them offering a spray and lotion is cool. I hope you try this tanner and love it as much as i do!.

Milani Liquif'eye HIT!

 Milani Liquif'eye : color 01 black
 price: $6-$7

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pencil eye liner and i finally found it! this is the best eyeliner hands down that i have tried, i used everything from maybelline to M.A.C. and this is by far the best that i've tried. i like my eye liners dark, lasts and wont run. this liner applys extremely smooth you have a min to work with it and smudge it out a little if you want ,but then it will dry and when it does its set! i've been using M.A.C eyeliner for the past few months it gave me great staying power and is a great product but is 16ish dollars. i started seeing reviews on milani liquif'eye soo i tried it and i don't think ill ever look back it doesn't  run, when it drys the pigmentation is wonderful better then urban decays 24/7 eye liners which i have also used and loved but found them to run a bit on me those are around$17. milani has a few colors other then black, i haven't tried them tho so i cant say if the color changes the lasting power of this product.

over all get this it is amazing i love it and its worth a shot for only $6 :-)

top swatch is $17 urban decay and bottom is $6 Milani!:-)

Revlon Colorstay VS Maybelline Superstay... VS!

here are my opinions on Revlon colorstay and Maybelline Superstay...

with all the hype around these two products i knew i wanted to try them both. i am extremely picky with my makeup and even more so with my foundation, i have sensitive dry/normal skin. i want something that was going to last all day with a medium to full coverage so naturally i decided to try these...

Revlon Colorstay:  i have color 150 buff for normal/dry skin.

this foundation has two different formulas one for normal/dry skin and one for combination/oily skin. i think their color selection is pretty good for a drugstore brand, it says to have "softflex" and an SPF of 15 ( the higher the SPF the the more of a white or pale cast your face will have in photos even more so with the flash so i recommend that if you know you will be getting your picture taken for whatever reason you use a foundation with no SPF or very little) I found this foundation to be VERY heavy, didn't blend super easy and dried really fast, so it made blending even more of a pain. i found mixing it with a thinner foundation made blending easier.  the coverage is REALLY good with this even with out a concealer.  it did last all day and i didn't see any creasing or flaking which is always good. i did use this with the setting powder, it didn't really add to the coverage which is ok because this doesn't need help in that department. the powder is good if your looking for a setting powder just to throw in your bag for touch ups, if you looking for a powder that's more of a powder foundation this isn't for you it'll keep you matte but no coverage really at all.

Maybelline Superstay: i have color sand beige
this foundation only has one formula for all skin types, the color selection is way smaller and i found it harder to find a good match. it says to have "micro-flex" no transfer 24hour wear no SPF so no white cast ,so great for nights out with lots of picture taking. i LOVE this foundation the coverage is great medium to full. its not super thick i found it easy to blend, it does dry faster then most foundations but not so fast its hard to work with. it didn't feel super heavy of cakey on my skin, and wore all day. i did use the purestay powder foundation over this and it gave me even more coverage and looked very pretty. i haven't tried this powder alone but if your looking for something with a little more coverage then a normal setting powder this is one of the better drugstore powders that i have tried.

if i had to pick between these two hands down id pick superstay. it lasts just as long but i found it easier to blend with out that heavy feeling. the color selection is smaller and there is only one formulation, but i think at least for normal to try skin this is the better choice for at least me. both these foundation are around 8 to 11 dollars depending on where you live and where you buy them. also remember if you go and pick one of these up and don't like it most store have a no questions asked return policy even if the product has been slightly used.:-)
